3D Modeling + LEGO Robotics Weekly Camp

Ages 9-14, 2.5 hours per day

Max campers: 8


3D Modeling (Day1 - Day2)

  • Learn to use Google Sketchup tools: SHAPE, PULL, MOVE
  • Learn 3D printing safety
  • Design a customized LEGO brick and save on USB drive
  • Receive a sample 3D print-out at the end of camp


 LEGO Robotics Building (Day3 - Day5)

  • Build up to 5 exciting projects using LEGO mindstorms
  • Expose and use icon-based programming commands
  • Opportunity to work independently and cooperatively
  • Create accessory pieces to add on to the basic robot
  • Sorry, robots cannot be taken home

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will incur a $25 cancellation fee, and after June 25 there will be no refunds for cancellation.9If Robokids Richmond should be forced to cancel camps due to emergency circumstances such as unforeseen facility or instructor unavailability, a full tuition refund, minus $9 ticket administration charge we incur from Eventbrite, will be issued.
