About this event
The nine headings will ensure that you consider all aspects of your after-death care, including sharing the news of your death, roles for your loved ones to make it meaningful for them, expenses and logistics and more.
Consider that every act of how you are cared for after you die is an opportunity for meaningful rituals that can build, nourish, and heal individuals and communities.
How people are cared for after they die is regulated by multiple pieces of legislation at different levels of government. Within the scope of these laws, the choices people make have practical and symbolic intentions and implications in the present and over time. For individuals as well as families, communities and cultures, these choices are influenced by many factors that intersect psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, economic and environmental dimension
I hope you’ll see in this workshop that understanding what matters in the end, is a pathway to living and loving fully, now. In this workshop you will:
- Get introduced to Willow’s end-of-life planning tool, 9 Things to Include in your Departure Directions™.
- Explore the factors that shape your Departure Directions™.
- Gain some clarity about who and what matters most to guide you in making your choices.
- Become inspired to get into action around how to live and die well.
When it comes to after-death care, there are so many choices and options to consider. We’re not going to explore all those options in this workshop.
What I will do is focus on the self-reflection and personal discovery work we believe will guide you in making your choices.
