About this event

Anastasia Boldireff, a 32-year-old Wasaga Beach local will be representing Canada at the World Championships in Crete, Greece on October 29th, 2022. Her journey to today has been a battle of physical strength and mental resilience, facing not only the rigorous training of an athlete but also overcoming personal trauma that helped her become who she is today. She's not only representing Canada, but is also a beacon of hope for other women who have faced abuse and discrimination. "Every stroke I take towards victory in October will be a hand reaching out to raise up others who have faced similar challenges."

Join us September 28th to hear her story.

Oceanman is an international swimming event. There are three qualifying events internationally: one in the Americas, one in Asia and one in Europe. On February 6, 2022, Boldireff placed 8th in her gender and age group qualifying herself for one of 30 spots internationally for the World Championships. Boldireff is looking for support for her flights, hotel, equipment, and training costs.

Event sponsored by The Collingwood Foundry and Rally Beer.
