After a two-year hiatus, the Three Ships Collective’s immersive and award-winning smash-hit production of A Christmas Carol is back!

Set in the historic and picturesque Campbell House Museum located in the heart of downtown Toronto and brought to life by a stellar cast, this unique theatrical experience invites audience members to step into the world of Victorian England and follow flinty miser Ebenezer Scrooge on his ghostly journey of redemption. A mirthful medley of magic, music, and the macabre, this adaptation of Charles Dickens’ story features original scenes, characters, and songs, making it a retelling of the beloved holiday tale unlike any other!

After back-to-back sold out runs in 2018 and 2019 and receiving rave reviews from both the press and public alike, A Christmas Carol is already one of the holiday season’s most anticipated events!

Praise for A Christmas Carol includes:

“ NNNNN … Brilliant! … One-of-a-Kind! ” – Now Magazine

*Proof of age / artistic affiliation / student card may be requested when arriving at the venue.

Please Note the Following:

Due to the immersive and mobile nature of this production, audience members will be required to stand for a significant portion of the 85 minute performance, navigate stairs on multiple occasions, and will, at times, , be in close proximity to other audience members. A very limited number of seats can be reserved for patrons unable to stand for extended periods of time. Please contact the Campbell House Museum at 416-597-0227 ext. 2, or sarah@campbellhousemuseum.ca, to confirm availability of these seats and to reserve in advance.

While this production is family friendly, it does touch on some mature themes and is recommended for children 10 and older. Babes in arms are not permitted for safety reasons.

COVID Precautions:

Due to the historic nature of the Campbell House Museum and the unique staging of this production, audience members will often be standing in very close proximity to each other and to the actors, and doing so in rooms of varying sizes. For the health and safety of both our audiences and our cast, ALL attendees of A Christmas Carol will be required to wear a mask while inside the Campbell House and to ensure that their mouth and nose are covered at all times.

If a mask is not deemed suitable by Front-of-House staff (e.g. if it does not create a close seal around the nose and mouth), a suitable mask will be provided.

Performances on Sunday December 11th at 5:30pm and Sunday December 18th at 5:30pm are designated as “Covid-Cautious” performances. In addition to our universal masking policy these two performances will differ as follows:

1. Audience capacity will be moderately reduced, although audience members should still expect to stand in close proximity to one another.

2. All audience members, regardless of age, will be required to have had at least two doses of a federally approved Covid vaccine. Proof of vaccination will be checked at the entrance. Please make sure to have proof of vaccination (for everyone) and photo ID (for anyone 18 or over) ready when arriving.

If there is a suspected or confirmed case of Covid in your party, please call 416-597-0227 ext. 2 or contact sarah@campbellhousemuseum.ca before attending your performance to discuss options.

Latecomer Policy:

Latecomers may be admitted but only up to a certain point in the performance approximately 5-10 minutes after the start of the show, and strictly at the discretion of the Front-of-House staff. Because of the mobile nature of this production, admitting latecomers after the cut-off point would be disruptive for the performance. Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds for latecomers who cannot be admitted. We thank you for your understanding.

Refund and Exchange Policy:

There are no refunds or exchanges. Exceptions may be made under exceptional circumstances and strictly at the discretion of Campbell House staff. If an exchange is granted (subject to availability) and the new performance is in a higher price tier, the ticket holder(s) will have to pay the price difference.

If there is a suspected or confirmed case of Covid in your party, please call 416-597-0227 ext. 2 or contact sarah@campbellhousemuseum.ca before attending your performance to discuss options.
