About this Event
Aura Freedom is collaborating with Indigenous community members and artists in Toronto for a powerful online event on the genocide of violence against Indigenous women in Canada.
This event is part of the Indigenous segment of our Relentless Resilience campaign to end gender-based violence in Canada and in collaboration with Native Women's Resource Centre of Toronto and Native Child & Family Services of Toronto.

Through conversations with Indigenous frontline workers and community activists in Toronto, this event on Dec 3, 2020 will raise awareness of violence against Indigenous women in Canada, its roots in colonialism and patriarchal ideals, and how advancing equity is key to eradicating it.
If you are an Indigenous artist who would like to sing, drum, dance, read a poem or perform spoken word for our event, please get in touch. Honorarium available.
