Event description
Radical Feminists Unite - Toronto invites you to #FAWCan: Eight webinars on the unfinished work of women's liberation in Canada

About this Event

Radical Feminists Unite (RFU) is pleased to invite you to the #FAWCan webinar series delivered via Zoom.

We are a Toronto-based group of women concerned about the deterioration of female sex-based rights in Canada, and the epidemic of violence against women & girls (#VAWG) here and abroad—which has intensified since the outbreak of COVID-19.

The #FAWCan speaker series shines light on this shadow pandemic, and calls for urgent action from policy makers, public and private organizations, as well as the global community.

Join us for 4-days of dialogue on women’s liberation. Eight feminists from across the country will speak on women’s legal and social status in contemporary Canada—a status still in flux more than a century after gaining the right to vote.

One ticket to this speaker series provides access to all four days (Nov 21, 22, 28, 29) and all eight webinars (see details below).

Each webinar will be 45 minutes in duration, followed by 15 min Q&A.
