Description

What's not to love about the fall season?

That's why on October 14th, we're celebrating fall - Golden Acre style. Join us for our second annual fall festival for all things autumn. Last year was so much fun, that we're going even bigger and better this time around!

Not only is this event family-friendly and free to attend, but you can also expect…

- FREE pancake breakfast (yum!)

- Pumpkin bowling

- Face painting

- Prize draws

- Live music with nine-year-old Flamenco guitarist, @Harry Knight, and local folk-rock band @The Frontiers

- Local farmers' market vendor with seasonal fruit and veggies – TJ’s Produce from Crossroads Market

- The Calgary Beekeepers’ Association selling honey + teaching all things bees

- And more fall fun + activities!

Live music schedule:

- Harry Knight from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

- The Frontiers from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Not only is this a fall festival, but also the official unveiling of our magical Christmas showroom and tree lot. You'll have a chance to get some early holiday shopping in, and pre-order your live Christmas trees from Golden Acre. If you have ever seen our trees, you'll know they are some of the most stunning in the city. From Nova Scotia, our premium balsam firs are one of the best parts of the holidays.

Don't celebrate Christmas or not quite ready to think about the holidays? Worry not! There will be something for everyone, so don’t miss out on a great day of fall fun with family, friends and the community.
