Sustainable Living: A 4 Week Journey to Create Your Good Life

About this Event

Join us in this journey (online course) to develop the sustainable living mindset. In this 4 week journey, we will explore health, happiness, peace of mind and fulfillment through sustainable living.

Week 1: Creating a Good Life through Sustainable Living. Connecting our values and beliefs to sustainable living.

Week 2: Cultivating mindful reverence for our food. Living a healthier and more fulfilling life through purposeful and responsible consumption.

Week 3: Designing our homes and spaces for meaningful connections to nature. Finding peace of mind in nature through biophilic design.

Week 4: Find meaning in relationships, in creativity, in having an impact beyond our individual lives by focusing on our passions and not products. Achieving freedom through minimalism.

Hear stories on how others have started their sustainable living journey. Map your journey with our tools (mind mapping, reflections, and design strategies) based on years of science based research and personal experience. Create your good life through sustainable living-- driven by good health, happiness, peace of mind and purpose.

Instructor Dr. Minna Damani: My sustainable living story begins as a patient. An unexpected illness started my journey to find strength and purpose through sustainable living. I have shared my research and discoveries for over 6 years to countless students as a professor. Each of my students has enriched my life and has added to my story. Now it is my hope to share this story, my journey and my research findings with you. I look forward to you joining me on this journey as I learn from you and help you to create your good life based on the deeper principles of sustainable living. Online Course Format: We will meet weekly for 4 weeks using Zoom to discuss and share our thoughts on the weekly topic. It is my hope that Saturdays mornings will provide a peaceful time for you to attend and share during our video calls. Each session will also be recorded for later viewing. Over the week, students will complete their weekly reflections, sharing their thoughts in our community forum. The Zoom meeting link will be provided closer to the date of the event.
