À la rencontre de la cohorte 2019 du programme ÊTRE NOIR.E AU CANADA

Ce panel propose des entretiens avec les jeunes cinéastes qui font partie de la cohorte 2019 de Être Noir au Canada, issue du programme Relève et Diversité de la Fondation Fabienne Colas. Le plus grand programme de formation professionnelle et de mentorat du pays entièrement dédié aux cinéastes noirs.

Nous discuterons de leurs expériences lors de la formation et du tournage dans chaque ville, comment cela leur a été bénéfique et les messages qu'ils espèrent véhiculer à travers leur film.

Getting to know the filmmakers of the BEING BLACK IN CANADA (ÊTRE NOIR.E AU CANADA) Program - 2019 cohort (Panel in French)

This panel features interviews with the young filmmakers who are part of The Fabienne Colas Foundation's “Being Black In Canada Program”. The Country’s largest professional training and mentorship program dedicated entirely to Black Filmmakers. We will discuss their experiences during the training and filming in each city, how it has benefitted them and the messages they hope to convey through their films.

The inaugural Ottawa Black Film Festival, founded by the Fabienne Colas Foundation and Supported by Canadian Heritage will run from March 25 to 28, 2021.
