atsa: Addictions Treatment Services Association presents "A Matter of Equity: Understanding Substance Use Health". Join us on Friday, May 27, 2022 to define the topic of Substance Use Health, to inform your conversations on destigmatizing substance use, and advance the treatment and care of our clients in the health system.
Featuring our keynote speaker Gord Garner, Vice-President of Strategic Partnerships with Community Addictions Peer Support Association (CAPSA) who will introduce the topic of Substance Use Health. Also featuring the Harm Reduction Nursing Team from Eastern Health to highlight a nursing perspective on harm reduction and Debbie Curtis and Linda Warford from the Department of Health and Community Services, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to discuss the provincial Alcohol Action Plan and Our Path to Resilience: Life Promotion Suicide Prevention Action Plan.
This conference has limited in-person seating. People may attend virtually through Zoom (link to follow in ticket purchase confirmation email).
Tickets are $95.00 (+ Eventbrite fees). There will be no refunds on tickets. If you cannot attend the conference following purchase of ticket, do not worry. All ticket holders will receive a recording of the conference in the days following the event.
Please note that lunch will not be provided as the café will be closed. Conference attendees may bring a "brown bag" lunch or have lunch off-site.
