Description

A Theatrical Treasures presentation

Written by William Shakespeare
Directed by Barbara Poggemiller*

December 14 – 16, 2017
CCPA Performance Hall, 1701 Elgin Rd

An evocative moonlit adventure, charged with erotic energy, the ‘Dream’ explores imbalance of male/female power. Titania, Queen of the Fairies, challenges her King, Oberon, with the idea that the dissention between them creates havoc in the natural world. The play’s fuel is desire, and the chaos it unleashes before balance is restored. It is brilliantly conceived, funny and magical.

The play is one of Shakespeare’s most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world.
