The Misery Mountain Boys is an Edmonton-based swing and jump-blues outfit fronted by Steven Gevenich whose high energy, dance-floor ready performances channel ragtime rhythms, melodic clarinet/sax solos and tongue-in-cheek vintage flair.
Peter & The Wolves is a Calgary rock-and-roll band led by songwriter Howlin’ Pete Cormier, who switches between piano and guitar and fronts a lineup that ranges from a tight trio to a full six-piece. They perform original material inspired by Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Fats Domino, and Gene Vincent, mixed with timeless classics from the 1920s through the 1960s.
