More about the keynote by Ken Steele: Future-Ready Education: Rethinking Teaching for the Digital Age

Every day, astounding advances in predictive analytics, machine learning, virtual reality and artificial intelligence radically reshape the future society and economy in which our students will live and work. As educators, we need to anticipate the future, and rethink what and how we teach in order to prepare future-ready citizens. To prepare our students to be flexible, adaptive, creative and collaborative for the future, we have to model those same attributes ourselves today, by being open to innovative pedagogies, classroom technologies, curricula and models of assessment.

In this fast-paced keynote presentation, education futurist Ken Steele will share an eye-opening overview of trends inside and outside the classroom, and their implications for teachers in the years ahead. Bring along a mobile phone or device to add your perspective to some real-time online polls during the session.
