Description

uOttawa Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering Chapter is hosting a networking event with the National Research Council Canada, NRC. This event will host to a panel of researchers from NRC, CSME, uOttawa, Carleton, and other industries to present projects, share ideas, and network with undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty. It will be a great event for students to network with professionals, and an awesome opportunity for professors, CSME, NRC, and other researchers to exchange and share project ideas, information, and possibly partnership.

Join us and network with 40 NRC Research Officers and industry professionals. It is a chance for you to expose your talents.

The evening will commence by a brief introduction speech by the CSME uOttawa chapter, followed by three individual speakers and a discussion panel. There will be a designated time for questions after each presentation. The discussion panel will present two different speakers who will present their research on engineering materials. The other two individual speakers will discuss their research in aerospace, thermal comfort, and solar panels. The last hour of the event will consist of a networking period over a classical music played by some talented uOttawa engineering students. Additionally, students will be presenting posters on their research projects during the networking period.
