Eaton Arrowsmith White Rock is pleased to host Barbara Arrowsmith Young on Sunday October 16th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the White Rock Community Centre. Barbara Arrowsmith-Young is the Director of Arrowsmith School and Arrowsmith Program and author of the international bestseller The Woman Who Changed Her Brain. Her work has been recognized as one of the first examples of the practical application of neuroplasticity— the brain’s ability to change and rewire itself over one’s lifetime.
Join Barbara and learn about a number of learning disorders. She will discuss ‘cognitive glitches’ and ‘cognitive mismatches’ and the challenges they present in everyday life. An Eaton Arrowsmith alumni student will also share his experiences with the Arrowsmith Program.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Barbara's book, The Woman Who Changed Her Brain, can be purchased for $10. Cash only. Book signing available as well!
