Scarborough Mutual Aid is an online resource service available to residents of Scarborough, Ontario to safely submit requests for support as they self-isolate during Covid-19. Requests for support may be material, emotional, and financial in nature. Volunteers will aim to meet the needs of the support requested through all available methods. All health & safety precautions will be taken.
Beyond existing as a resource for immediate support, Scarborough Mutual Aid is actively engaged in re-imagining how we can meaningfully show up for one another throughout & beyond this current timeline. As faulty systems crumble and deep structural inadequacies are unearthed, we owe our care to one another and we owe it to ourselves to re-envision what this care can look like.
