The Event
Buddha Vajrasattva is the manifestation of the completely pure mind of all Buddhas. This special blessing ceremony will allow us to make a deep connection with Buddha Vajrasattva’s enlightened mind, lay down the painful burden of our past negativities, and receive deep healing through his purifying blessings.
During the Empowerment and related commentary, Gen Suma will teach us how we can purify our mind, thereby clearing out the obstacles that prevent us from steadily actualizing our potential to experience lasting freedom and happiness.
The Teacher
Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Suma has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism since the mid-1990s. A mother, grandmother and devoted practitioner, she is known for the warmth and clarity of her teachings and for her love of her students. She has been teaching in Barrie and the surrounding areas for eight years.
