About this Event

How might Community Benefit Purchasing show up in our communities and how are Social Enterprises and institutions already coming together to create a positive impact?

In the fall, our expert guests showed us that social procurement is more than a buzzword - it's an innovative force for local, national and global change. In this session, we'll learn how to leverage existing purchasing practices to create additional economic, social and environmental value.

Join the SENCO team for a virtual series, featuring returning guests to present key insights and lessons from their personal experiences with social procurement projects across the country. We'll explore inspiring, real life examples with insightful tools and strategies to bring community benefit purchasing, or social procurement, to life in Central Ontario.

Come join us!

This session is a part of the Community Benefit Purchasing Project in partnership with Ashoka Canada, funded by Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Tune in for all three parts of our Winter series as we dive into real life examples of successful social procurement tools and strategies with experts in the field .

Followed by additional regional opportunities this Spring, including readiness sessions, a networking event, and coaching for social enterprise / diverse suppliers along with purchasers in Central Ontario.
