An introduction to Ableton Live created for those who are brand new to production, Ableton, or Ableton users who aren’t taking advantage of the session view and Ableton Live’s performance real-time approach
-Ableton’s session view, managing clips, audio samples/loops and creating “scenes”
-Mixer settings, channel overview, clip launching in practice, Midi clips, basic recording, editing and quantize, clip launching settings and behavior, effects and automation.
-Recording session view performance to arrangement page.
-Will include Roland MX-1 Performance Mixer as control surface and hardware control of clip launching/scene launching.
-Everybody will create a 8-16 bar loop based composition and can be recorded and saved in Ableton for use if they choose to continue in Ableton Intermediate workshops that follow.
