Food and Beverage Canada invites you to our 2023 Policy Breakfast – Achieving Agri-food Workforce Stability by 2030 – held in partnership with the Canadian Agricultural Human Resources Council (CAHRC) and in conjunction with The Future of Food Conference.
In 2020, Canada’s agri-food sector launched the National Workforce Strategic Framework for Agriculture and Food & Beverage Manufacturing – a plan to achieve workforce stability by 2030, with work focused in five key areas:
- Perception and Awareness of Industry & Careers
- People & Workplace Culture
- Immigration & Foreign Workers
- Skill Development
- Automation and Technology
