Who should attend?
Prospective or interested students enrolling in Fall 2020 Environmental, Geological or Civil Engineering with an interest in water and/or climate change.
*Space is limited. Priority will be given to students who have applied to Environmental, Geological or Civil Engineering.
**Attendance at the Drinking Water Workshop will not impact admission to UWaterloo programs. Admissions is a separate process. This workshop is intended to give prospective students insight into UWaterloo teaching and access to opportunities in their 1st year.

- Become eligible for a coop placement competition with the forWater group at the University of Waterloo in your 1st year.
- Earn a workshop certificate in Achieving Drinking Water Security in a Changing Climate to put on your CV.
After participating in the workshop certificate, you will:
- Understand how climate change and extreme weather events can impact drinking water.
- Participate in hands-on experiments to uncover the science of drinking water treatability and how to secure safe water.
- Interact with future and present students and join a mixer event where parents/guardians can see what students learned over the course of the day.
