What is the refund policy?

For all participants, there is a $25 non-refundable administrative cost built in to the costs of registration. Transfers are made by registration cancellations and then reregistration and are subject to the $25 admin fee.

For registration cancellations - Fees are non-refundable 5 business days prior to the course, unless accompanied by a physicians note (administrative fee will still apply).

In case of a course cancellation, participants will be notified 5 business days in advance of the course and all fees, including the administrative fee, will be refunded.

What are the required readings for ACLS?

Please make sure you read the information on the VIHA intranet site https://intranet.viha.ca/departments/emergency/Pages/ACLSInfo.aspx

It is the responsibility of the partcipant to obtain the 2016 ACLS Provider Manual which is the required textbook for this course. It can be purchased through Heart and Stroke Foundation. In addition, lending libraries are available through critical care units at both RJH & VGH.
