Event description

Description

This day-long workshop provides a valuable opportunity for librarians to engage more deeply with the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. Workshop participants will explore concepts and approaches outlined in the Framework and apply their learning and reflection to create instruction plans and develop strategies for growing teaching partnerships.

Two Framework experts, Lindsay Matts-Benson and Kim Pittman, will lead this in-demand workshop.

The workshop is being held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the University of Manitoba (Fort Garry campus). Registration includes lunch, morning, and afternoon refreshments, and is capped at 60 participants. Transportation from the University of Winnipeg to the University of Manitoba is included in the cost. Space is limited so we encourage delegates to register early.
