Behzad Khademian, Ph.D.

Behzad is a software developer on the High Definition Localization & Maps (HDLM) team, within the Active Safety and Autonomous group. The team is responsible to design and develop the core software framework to provide in-vehicle map data for autonomous vehicle control systems.

Behzad completed his Ph.D. in Robotics Control Systems at Queen’s University in 2010, where his focus was on novel control system design and development for dual-user teleoperation systems. He is the author of over 20 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications with over 300 citations and has experience across a range of industries prior to GM.

Amanda is an engineering group manager for the Front Camera Module Controller System Team (FCM CST). The team is responsible for integrating and testing a combination of GM developed software and supplier software into the standalone front camera across a majority of Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles.

Amanda completed her M.Eng in Communications at Dalhousie University in 2001. Prior to joining the Active Safety & Autonomous team, Amanda established herself as an innovator in the field of Bluetooth Low Energy and Smartphone interactions with over 20 patents. Amanda has been in the field of transportation from Aerospace to Automotive over the past 20 years.
