About this event

Join our Education team as they share a few activities you can do with children and youth to engage them in prevention education conversations.

We will explain how to use the activities, provide you with access to the digital materials, practice delivery as needed and answer any additional questions.

Activities geared for class sized groups of children/youth however can be adapted to individual conversations.

- Body Parts Bingo (grade K-4) Help children understand the different names for common body parts.

- Body “bubble” Boundary (grade 4-6) Discuss boundary's and what types of interactions and touches students are comfortable with in each of the "bubbles". Have discussions on how they can tell people what their boundary is and how to respect the boundaries of others.

- Emotion Statues (grade 4-6) Learn that emotions look different for each person, help students practice showing emotions and reading the emotions of others. A great activity to lead into conversations on empathy.

- Diversity Unicorn (grade 5-7) Explore the diversity of your classroom, help students identify the unique differences between themselves and others in a safe and open way. Have discussions on how we treat people who are different, or the same, as us, with respect.
