About this Event

The climate around the world is changing, and the effects are being felt right here in the Township of Langley. The Township is developing a Climate Change Adaptation Plan to prepare us for climate change risks such as flooding, more intense storms, summer drought and wildfire smoke.

Join us for a discussion about our new climate future in Langley, and learn how government is working to reduce our risks.

  • John Aldag - Member of Parliament, Cloverdale-Langley City
  • Trevor Murdock - Climate Scientist, Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium
  • Krista Robinson - Sustainability Programs Specialist, Township of Langley

Opening remarks provided by Township of Langley Mayor Jack Froese.

Light refreshments will be served.
