Dr. Sepali Guruge, Ryerson University, examines the unique and common risk factors of elder abuse within and across Chinese and South Asian communities in the Toronto area. Dr. Guruge, an expert in the area of immigrant health for over 20 years, focuses on the role of resilience and leadership among older immigrants in addressing elder abuse.
