Adult ADHD Seminar Series (Guelph)
Sat, 29 October 2016, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT
The Adult ADHD Seminar Series seeks to educate, empower, and entertain ADHDers on the quest to their best life and is run by Matt Goetz MA, a therapist with ADHD himself. This series is composed of three seminars, described below.
How ADHDers Can Turn Their Luck Around (Sept 24th) - With ADHD, we encounter so many things we need to do but how do we know what the best choices are in the long run? Here, we'll explore how to initiate the momentum that lets you take back control of your life and begin reliably making healthy choices. One of the tools you will learn to use is a decision making calculator that cuts through the pesky analysis paralysis that plagues us.
Dealing With Toxic People (Oct 29th) - Learn research-supported strategies to arm you in the fight against nay-sayers and saboteurs. The world is often unforgiving of our ADHD so we need to figure out the signs that tell us who to ally ourselves with and who we need to fire (and how to do either, because, yeesh, not easy!).
Cheat-Proof Your ADD Relationship (Nov 26th) - Learn the practical science behind how to create an unbreakable bond that lasts through the years. We will be joined by Alina Kislenko MA, a psychotherapist specializing in couples with ADHD.
***Special early bird rate of $25 until Oct 14th, 2016***
