Advanced First Aid (Earlier OFA Level 3)

Advanced First Aid (Earlier Occupational First Aid Level 3) is a 70-hour program designed to provide advanced life-saving first aid skills for remote worksites or employers with large workforces and are located more than 20 minutes away from medical aid or hospitals. Initial certification requires full participation and course attendance. Successful candidates will receive the Worksafe BC Advanced First Aid (Earlier Occupational First Aid Level 3) certificate.

The examination is conducted shortly after the last day of class and is scheduled after each class has commenced. You will be required to pass an examination conducted by a person authorized by the Workers Compensation Board. A grade of 70% or higher is required on each segment (written & practical) of the exam for successful certification.

Cancellation Policy: For classes that are 6 or more days long, participants can cancel & apply for a full refund or transfer to a different course date at no cost if Mainland Safety is notified in person, by phone or by email 14 business days before the course start date.
