Like any good adventure, the workshop will begin early morning at Seattle's Ferry Port which is convenient to get to via public transportation from the Seattle Airport. Together the group will take a 45 minute Ferry to Bainbridge Island. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation, meals, and lodging for this journey as we travel caravan style together along the way. The first day's adventures will include many stops along the way to the Washington Coast where the group will stop explore and make photographs together eventually leading to where we will shoot a sunset, have a bonfire, roast hot dogs and toast marshmallows on the beach.

Detailed itinerary and instructions will be emailed to each attendee before the journey. In addition, all are welcome to camp with Tanner and Luke overnight on the beach but must bring their own camping supplies. If traveling from out of town REI in Seattle has great rentals at reasonable prices.

Once you sign up for the workshop you will be granted access to an exclusive Facebook group set up to communicate with each other, ask questions and share images before and after the workshop. This is a good opportunity for you to meet people you will be traveling with and also communicate with each other about ridesharing and carpooling with each other.

Since this is a photography-driven workshop we will be making many stops along the way to photograph different and diverse locations. Tanner is local to the region and you will be treated to his expert insight on his favorite places to shoot. There is considerable driving which should give you the opportunity to charge batteries and download cards in your vehicles along the way but extra batteries and cards are highly recommended. Attendees should expect early mornings and late nights (these two days are packed very full).

At the end of the workshop we will be giving away a brand new Lowepro camera bag donated by our sponsors at Lowepro, Lenses from Moment, Giftcards from Glazers, prints from Artifact Uprising, a Gorillapod from Joby, and everyone will leave with access to Pro Deal pricing from Vasque Footwear.

The idea of this workshop is to not only leave with a better understanding of how to make your photography better but also to leave with a feeling that you were able to create a visual story of the adventure you just had. The story of the places you have seen, the experiences you had there and most of all the people and friendships you make along the way.
