Advocis Durham Region presents: CLU Advanced Learning Series - Case Study 2 - Creditor Protection & Case Study 6 - Estate Planning with Trusts
Join facilitators Simon Maxwell and Andrew Gooden and your fellow CLU designates on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. (Eastern Time) as you do a deep dive into Creditor Protection and Estate Planning with Trusts.
You will have an interactive discussion with case studies to identify any current or potential creditor issues and discuss alternative strategies for the preservation of assets. In the second case study you will identify how trusts can be used to achieve non-tax objectives, identify the need for planning for incapacity and illustrate the benefits of the use of trusts in estate planning.
In each session, CLU designation holders will participate in group discussions on case studies with solutions using advanced insurance concepts and strategies.
We suggest participants have a copy of the following during the event for reference:

- Wealth Planning Strategies for Canadians Textbook, 2019 Edition
- Estate Planning with Life Insurance Textbook, 6th Edition
