Advocis Edmonton 2022 Kick Off
Please join Advocis Edmonton in kicking off 2022 on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. Mountain Time. All members and non-members across the Alberta region and Advocis network are welcome to attend.

- Rob Eby, Chair of the Board of Directors of Advocis, provides you with the latest updates from Advocis National, including highlights from 2021 and a preview of where the Association is headed in 2022 and beyond. Following his presentation, Rob will be pleased to connect with attendees for a Q&A session.

Edmonton's Economic Outlook
- Felicia Mutheardy, Corporate Economist Budget Planning and Development, City of Edmonton will provide an Economic Outlook for 2022. The presentation will provide an overview of current economic conditions in Edmonton, as well as the City of Edmonton's latest economic outlook.
Calgary and Region Economic Outlook
- Dr. Chukwudi (Chidi) Obinna Osuji, PhD. City Economist and Regulatory Lead Corporate Economics, City of Calgary will highlight the current economic conditions in Calgary, as well as The City of Calgary's latest economic outlook.

Robert Eby
Chair of the Board of Directors of Advocis
Robert (Rob) Eby is Chair of the Board of Directors of Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada. An Executive Financial Consultant with Rob Eby & Associates and IG Private Wealth Management in Winnipeg since 2006, Rob is a member of the Private Wealth Management Division.
Previously, Rob was Manager of Sales Technology Research, Development, and Training with Investors Group. He has also been VP of Strategic Business Development for Emerging Information Systems Inc. (EISI). His career began in 1987 with the information technology department of IG Wealth Management, where he was responsible in part for the implementation and training of financial planning tools for advisors.
In addition to being Vice Chair of the TFAAC Board from 2019-2021, Rob served on the Advocis Chapter Leadership Council from 2012 – 2015 and was the 2010 – 2011 President and 2007 – 2009 Treasurer of the Advocis Winnipeg Chapter.
Rob comes from a legacy of financial planners. Rob's grandfather, father and sister are all financial planners; together, they have over 140 years of experience with IG Wealth Management. Alongside his wife and three daughters, Rob is an avid skier during the winter months, and enjoys spending the summer with his family on their boat at Lake of the Woods.
Felicia Mutheardy
Corporate Economist Budget Planning and Development, City of Edmonton
Felicia Mutheardy is the City of Edmonton's Corporate Economist and has a decade of experience in economic analysis, research, and government administration. Prior to joining the City of Edmonton, Felicia was a Senior Economist with the Government of Alberta. She has also held various positions with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, primarily with their Market Analysis Centre.
Dr. Chukwudi (Chidi) Obinna Osuji, PhD.
City Economist and Regulatory Lead Corporate Economics, City of Calgary
Chukwudi Obinna Osuji is the Acting City Economist with The City of Calgary and has worked with The City for over ten years. Before joining the City, he had worked in academia as a lecturer, visiting lecturer, adjunct professor and in the private sector as an Econometrician. Chukwudi earned his BSc in Physics with a minor in Mathematics in 1991 at the University of Windsor. A Masters, M.A. in Economics from the University of Windsor, Windsor Ontario, in 1993 and completed his PhD. in Economics at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, in 2001. His area of expertise is Public Finance and Urban Economics, and Applied Econometrics. In addition, Chukwudi loves to tinker under the hood with cars in his spare time.
