Presentation Description:

Data mining is the process of distilling valuable patterns and trends from data and applying that knowledge to grow the fundraising pipeline. Large charities have used data mining techniques for decades with considerable success, but smaller charities have been slow to adopt this data-driven approach. A key obstacle has been the perceived need for “big data” and advanced statistical techniques to build useful models. But there may be a better way. This presentation will demonstrate how small charities – using just Excel and data skimmed from the database – can identify new prospects and upgrade existing prospects through a simple donor score.

Members: $25 and Non-Members: $35 - Fee includes lunch. Cash or cheque at the door.
