About This Session
Yoga and mindfulness is a great tool for children to learn because it allows them to focus on the present and regulate emotions. Today we will be exploring animal yoga poses and focusing on our breathing to help unwind us after a long day.
About Our Yoga and Mindfulness Sessions
Bring a mat if you have one, but not necessary! Just make sure you have room to stretch out. During this session, children will learn body awareness, balance and body movements which will help to develop their physical health and well-being. We will also learn about mindfulness and a variety of different activities and techniques that can help calm us down when we are feeling overwhelmed.
