Description

This historical drama tells the story of Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman), who became the first African American to break baseball's colour line and play in the Major Leagues for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947 despite facing severe racism from the public, press and even other players.

Presented as part of the Toronto Public Library's Black History Month program series.
