This two-day Summit and Innovation Tour will provide opportunities for producers to learn from fellow agricultural innovators, as well as create an environment where agricultural and food producers can connect and problem-solve with professionals from the creative and technological fields.

November 2, 2016: Ag 4.0: The Next Big Thing - Summit
This engaging and inspiring event will be jam-packed with high-value, interactive workshops, lectures and opportunities to network with producers, innovators, and technological entrepreneurs and creatives.

On November 3rd, 2016, we'll give you the opportunity to tour some exciting Grey County farms and businesses to learn more about their innovative practices and how they have leveraged ICT and digital tools to "grow where they are planted" and build sucessful agriculture and food businesses here in Grey County.
Tours and speakers include:
Lomarr Lea Farms - See how robotic milkers and feeders support this Owen Sound dairy operation achieve its goals.
T&K Ferri Orchards - Learn from world leaders in super-spindle apple production based in the Town of the Blue Mountains.
Valleykirk Farms - Learn how ongoing technological upgrades have helped this Owen Sound farm look at innovation as succession planning.
Kilannan Brewing Co. - See how specialized water quality control software helps this Meaford-based brewery dial in on specific taste profiles.

Can I update my registration information?
Absolutely. We recommend that you create an Eventbrite account, which will store your information, and will let you easily update your registration should your contact information change.
You can register for the Summit alone or in a package with the farm Innovation Tour. Please note that in order to attend the Innovation Tour, you must register/attend the Summit. Seating will be limited for the tour, so make sure to register early to avoid disappointment.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring a copy of your ticket to the event, just in case.
If you registered for the Ag 4.0 Innovation Tour, please bring a printed copy of your ticket. The tour is limited capacity with reserved seating only and we will be following a strict ticketing/badge policy on the day of the tour.
I want to sponsor a student to attend the Summit, how can I do that?
We've added the option for anyone to become a supporter of emerging leaders in Grey County by contributing directly toward a ticket for a student or someone for whom cost is a barrier to attending. To provide a donation to support ticket scholarships, simply select the Scholarship ticket option in addition to your desired ticket. The minimum donation is $20 - but you can donate a full ticket ($75) or more. All scholarship supporters will be honoured at the Summit on November 2nd.
