Event description
Air Force Blacks -Photography Exhibit is taking place on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 29 at SAW GALLERY from 6PM-11PM. This event is powered by Freedx.

About this Event

Air Force Blacks Photography Exhibit is a free event taking place on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 29 at SAW GALLERY from 6PM-11PM.

This photography exhibit is created by Liz Clarke and powered by Freedx, in-partnership with Youth Ottawa and RBC Bluesfest. https://spark.adobe.com/page/9qibJqhbvWB9m/

Through the Artistic Mentorship Program at Youth Ottawa, Freedx’s CEO Liz Clarke, mentored students in 3 local high schools as they planned black history month activities to host in their respective schools. This event will celebrate the hard-working and resilient youth from St. Pius X High school, Ridgemont High school and Canterbury High school.

Come out, support and celebrate the young promising black youth in our city! You are in store for a jam-packed event full of black excellence and dopeness!

The theme for this event is 90s or Nikes! Come dressed in your best 90s street wear fit or fully decked out in Nike!

(No judgment here if you arrive not dressed for the theme or if you pull up in all Adidas because Liz loves Adidas)

The location is fully accessible.

We fully acknowledge that this event location is and will continue to be built on unceded and un-surrendered Algonquin Territory. We honour and thank the keepers of this land.

In the name of creating safer-spaces, BIPOC, Women and LGBQT2S+ lives, voices and experiences are always prioritized in Freedx hosted spaces! Come to the event to find out what that unconditional love and respect looks like!
