About this event

ACSEL seeks to encourage the civic participation of Alberta youth by providing 35 Canada Service Corps alumni (aged 18 to 30 years old) support and resources to develop new or enhance pre-existing community-based projects. Successful applicants will receive a $5,000 grant to help implement their work and will participate in a series of learning workshops on the fundamentals of project management and community service.

By attending the session, you will:

Learn more about ACSEL, including eligibility and what to expect as a participants.
Have the opportunity to workshop your service project ideas with other attendees.

Who can attend the workshop and info session?

The session is open to Canada Service Corps alumni and non-alumni. Please note that only CSC alumni are eligible to apply as project leads.

What is the difference between the March 2nd and March 9th info sessions?

The March 2nd meeting is designed for those who are passionate about a specific community issue but have yet to develop their project ideas. The March 9th meeting is designed for those with service projects in mind and need help scaling their ideas before filling out the application.
