UPDATE May 13th, 2020: Postponement, Online Gathering and TIcket Options

We will honor all refunds up until August 13th. If we don't hear from you by then, your ticket will still be good for Alchemy 2021 and is transferrable.

Beloved Community, thank you so much for your patience as we sift through the many feelings and realities that impacted our decision-making process. One of the things we value so much about Alchemy is that we are striving to build a community where different voices, beliefs, and ways of being can be heard and valued. Ultimately, this year we didn't see a way forward where it was possible to hold an in-person festival without creating division. We don't want anyone to feel that choosing to attend or not attend Alchemy means they are choosing a side in a debate. Just like the rest of our world, we (the Anchors) have different beliefs and feelings about the time we're living in too. Nature relies on diversity to create strength and sound structures, so we are going to take the time to fortify and deepen the vision for Alchemy so it can flourish for years to come.

We felt the most resistance to postponing the festival because of how important it is to be away from our mundane lives and emersed in sacred space. We hope that you will take that weekend, or carve out some time during it, where you can disconnect from muggle life and move into the sacred. To support that, we will be offering both recorded and live online rituals and unique connective circles and experiences, spread over the festival weekend of Aug 14-16th. This will include time with elemental mothers, ritual, circle time, virtual forest bathing, and sound baths, as well as a live fire ceremony on Saturday night. We will also be preparing an elemental ritual "kit" with herbs for smoke purification, candle, and other ritual items gathered from the land that will be used during different ceremonies that weekend. This is separate from the public offerings such as the Alchemy Convergence that we'll be offering throughout the summer.

*If it is sustainable for you to carry your current ticket over for next year (it will be good for Alchemy 2021), you will be able to access the Alchemy online offerings and fire ceremony on Aug 14-16th 2020, as well as receive the Stonehedge ritual kit if you're in Canada. This option will also help purchase the necessary tech items to make the magick happen. Each ticket carried over will get a kit and Pink and Purple Tent/youth tickets will receive something crafted specifically for them. Please email us confirmation that you'd like to carry your ticket over by June 15th and we'll follow up with the logistics of getting the ritual kit to you. If you're in the US, you can attend the online gathering, but we, unfortunately, can't ship a kit to you. We are happy to hold one until next year though if you plan on attending.

*If it's not sustainable to carry tickets over or you don't know if you'll be able to attend next year, but you would still like to participate in the online gathering and receive a ritual kit, email us by June 15th and we'll work with you to make it accessible.
*We will honor all refunds up until August 13th. If we don't hear from you by then, your ticket will still be good for Alchemy 2021 and is transferrable.

Alchemy of Womxn 2020 Update: Metamorphosis and Emergence

Beautiful Community, we've posted a video update on the Alchemy of Womxn Facebook group. We've provided a summary of the video below, and you're welcome to join the FB group if you haven't already done so:

* As of today, we are holding the vision that we will still be able to physically gather. We are all riding this wave together, there will be a point where we rise to the crest of it and can see a way forward. That could look like a physical gathering of some form, or an online gathering. Everything is changing on a day to day basis, and we will keep this group and ticket holders updated. Our refund policy has changed to reflect this.

*We are shifting the theme and energetic intention of Alchemy to include Emergence. We see that our 2020 theme, Metamorphosis is happening right now. We are all in the cocoon, changing, transforming in ways known and unknown. We are holding the vision that from our cocoons, a new world, and way of being will emerge.

* To support the cocooning process and metamorphosis happening now, we will be offering different ceremonies, workshops and circles online. These offerings will be free and do not require a ticket to join in.

The alchemy of healing & transformation through deep connection with the Earth & the elements

This weekend-long festival is for all those who identify as womxn and girls – Join us for a deep celebration of the divine feminine. Deeply rooted in elemental practices, this gathering consists of transformational workshops, fire ceremonies, dancing, drumming, healing tents, diversity circles, ritual and roaring fires under the moon.

Unleash your wild womxn!

We intend to make this event inclusive of all who identify as womxn.

As you delve into the depths of your own inner world of healing and transformation, new possibilities ignite for the healing of all around you, humanity and its interconnectedness to the earth. Together we weave the new story that includes “Her Story” – one of empowerment, equal voice, compassion, connection to the Earth, sisterhood, fierce, raw truth, and loving-kindness.

Join the alchemy as we weave this tale together.

Seekers of truth…ecstatic creativity and expression…Womxn rising to be the agents of change we need to be in the world.

This is a substance-free event. Come with an open heart and willingness to feel loved, to feel supported, to connect with the elements, to give and receive in community, and to heal.

*Yoga & Workshops
*Ceremonies & ritual
*Dancing, drumming, performances and radical self-expression
*Living in harmony with the land, a weekend in the woods!

Alchemy of Womxn Manifesto

~I commit to being honest and straight in my communications and interactions with other womxn.
~I commit to treating myself and other womxn with respect and loving-kindness.
~I commit to walking gently and with awareness upon the Earth, which means being responsible for all my trash, cleaning up after myself, being conscious and aware of what needs tending around me, helping out with the use of composting toilets and consuming less.
~I commit to taking responsibility for myself, which looks like self-care, healthy boundaries, loving touch if needed and asking for support when I need it.
~I commit to asking for alone time when I need it and understanding that it means nothing personal to any other womxm.
~I commit to listening deeply towards understanding, not responding.
~I commit to keeping what other womxn share confidential and not gossiping about it.
~I commit to using words in an uplifting and encouraging manner only when engaged in conversation with other womxn.
~I commit to celebrating another’s unique beauty and gifts, which means being open and curious about other walks of life, races, orientations and lifestyles.
~I commit to being willing to look at internal racism and prejudice honestly. If confronted about an issue that has brought offence to another womxn, especially around race, I will apologize and seek understanding of the offence as testament of my commitment to improving myself as well as to prevent another unintentional offence towards another womxn.
~I commit to seeing the greatness that is in another as I see it in myself.
~I commit to not holding myself back to fit in and in supporting other womxn in doing the same.
~I commit to honouring the sacredness of the container that I am co-creating with other womxn.
