Innovative Practice: Transitioning Out of Systems
This conference intends to elevate the shift in practice to relationship-based approaches while challenging participants to question, enhance, or reinforce the innovative practices they are using when engaging with youth facing significant barriers and high-risk situations.
For more information about the conference, visit the A4YC website!
Who should attend?
Anyone who works with youth is invited to attend. Past conferences have included diverse participants from community organizations, non profits, and staff in a variety of positions from education, law enforcement, child and family services, health and more.
This event is eligible for category A credits for social workers.
*An option to attend an in-person “Watch Party” at Grant MacEwan University is available for the first 150 registrants who indicate interest in attending. Sign up early and select the Watch Party add-on to your ticket during check out to hold your spot!
What is the “Watch Party”? For the same registration fee as the virtual event, you will be invited to gather with a limited sized group of participants to view the keynotes on the big screen, and see the panels live! It is an opportunity to informally (and safely) connect with peers and enjoy the conference together. Selecting "General Admission" alone, with no "Watch Party" add-on will indicate that you are planning to participate virtually.
