Featuring: Tales from a Carnegie Library

Andrew Larsen

@10:30am, FREE

Did you know that Memorial Park Library is an actual Carnegie library, completed in 1912 thanks to the unstoppable Annie Davidson (whose book club still meets monthly in the basement of Alberta’s oldest library)? Author Andrew Larsen has amazing tales to tell about Andrew Carnegie, the subject of his new kid’s book The Man Who Loved Libraries.

A Taste of Alberta Theatre Projects’ Charlotte’s Webb

Ethan Cole, Sarah Wheeldon & Tenaj Williams

@ 12:30pm, FREE

Back by popular demand, ATP brings the unlikely friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a spider called Charlotte to the stage from Nov. 21 – Dec. 31, 2017. Three members of the cast read from E.B. White’s classic children’s book, directed by Lauren Green.

Dennis Lee’s Alligator Pie

Dennis Lee

@ 1:15pm, FREE

What would a celebration of Alligator Pie be without a chance to revel in the rhymes and rhythms? And who better to bring this Canadian classic to life than its creator, Dennis Lee. He’ll be joined on stage by ATP’s Ethan Cole, Sarah Wheedon, and Tenaj Williams for a once-in-a-lifetime event.
