Event description
Launch into spring with a new self care practice! Combine art therapy & mindfulness in this transformative 5 week journalling workshop.

About this Event

This workshop series is for YOU if are feeling stuck or burnt out, need accountability of a group to start a self care practice, and are seeking creative connection with yourself and others in a nourishing fun environment!

Why is journalling a great method of self care?

  • Journaling is a simple way to start practicing putting ourself first.
  • Boost our self awareness through creating a record of ourselves and our life.
  • Channeling our thoughts onto the page can clear our head of stress & anxiety
  • Unplug from social media and tune into ourself
  • Having a regular creative practice increases our happiness!

Join this 5 week ONLINE Art Therapy Group for Adults. Here you will be guided through deconstructing an old book into a self care journal that is uniquely you! You will emerge with an altered book that is filled with self affirmations, self discoveries and learn a mindfulness practice that you can carry forward as a self care practice.

You DO NOT need to be an artist to join this group. You will be guided each week through an activity to explore ourself and build self care practices using a creative lens. We will muck about with art materials, make glorious messes, learn some techniques and discover so much about ourself in the process.

Groups are small (8pp) to encourage sharing creative space & enjoying new friendships.

Schedule: April 11th- May 16th (no class on Mothers Day)

Weekly on Sundays @ 10:00- 12:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.
