Crofton House School and the CHS Parents' Auxiliary are pleased to introduce Amanda Lang, anchor on Bloomberg TV Canada and acclaimed author of The Power of Why and newly released The Beauty of Discomfort, as this year's Whole Girl, Whole World speaker.

“Have we made life way too comfortable for our kids? Non-competitive soccer leagues, trigger warnings and sanitized social interactions may be crippling our kids’ ability to handle real-life problems” and “do we need to start pushing children outside their comfort zones?” Amanda draws on cutting-edge neuroscience from all over the world to answer these questions in the hope that viewers become more creative, more innovative, and more effective at work and in life. She  examines how asking the right question can change how we operate in business, education, and as individuals.
