EVENT HOST: ACC-VI

Founded in 1912, the Vancouver Island section of the Alpine Club of Canada offers a wide range of mountain-related activities. We organize everything from local hikes to challenging climbs in the Vancouver Island mountains, Pacific Coast Ranges, Rocky Mountains and beyond, climbing/ski/snowshoe camps. We offer a number of subsidized mountain education courses and workshops including ice axe handling, crevasse rescue, avalanche safety, and introductory mountaineering.

All adventurers welcome. And if you are curious about Membership - please ask. All that’s really required is a love of the mountains. If the mountains are an important part of your life, or you would like them to be, there’s a place in the club for you!
