About Amplify BC

Thanks to the Province’s one-year $7.5 million renewal of Amplify BC, concert lovers, festival goers and music enthusiasts will be able to enjoy more music while artists hone their skills and music companies create new projects.

Through Amplify BC, the Province is investing in BC artists’ career development, live music events, support for BC's music companies, and development of the music industry. The fund also attracts visitors to and helps grow BC tourism, while supporting related creative industries and small business development.

The Province established the $7.5 million fund in 2018 after extensive consultations with the music industry. Amplify BC will be administered by Creative BC from April 2019 through end of March 2020.
