Event Details

Join us for an exculsive evening of wine, cocktails, conversation, and Pi with North America's foremost skeptic, Michael Shermer. Calgary's Centre for Inquiry will be hosting a small gathering at the Parkerhouse Grill & Wine Bar in downtown Calgary. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Mr. Shermer while mingling with like minded skeptics and freethinkers from the community.

On the menu is Sauteed Chili and Garlic Prawns, Bruscetta Canapes, Beef Tenderloin Satays with Cabernet reduction, and Rock Prawn Cake Bites. The wine selection includes a Mount Riley Pinot Gris, St. Francis Chardonnay, Tait "Ballbuster" Shiraz Blend, and Santa Barbera Pinot Noir as well as a full cocktail bar and beer on tap.

And last but not least, to celebrate Pi Day, we've adding a selection of individual Pies as desert for our guests.

Join us on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at:

Parkerhouse, 131 Sixth Ave SW (between Centre Street and 1st Street SW) in downtown Calgary

Ticket prices are $150 each. A tax receipt for $100 will be available upon request.

Tickets are limited to 35 so don't delay.

Michael Shermer will also be speaking at the UofC on March 15th. Tickets are available here.
