Dr. Wade Davis is a great Canadian writer, photographer and storyteller, who has been described as “a rare combination of scientist, scholar, poet and passionate defender of all of life’s diversity”. The author of nineteen books, including One River, The Wayfinders, The Sacred Headwaters, Into the Silence and River Notes, Wade’s photographs have been widely exhibited and have appeared in thirty books and as many magazines, including National Geographic, Time, Geo, People, Men’s Journal and Outside. He is also a Member of the Order of Canada, and an Honorary Vice President of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
