Description

Join us for an evening of inspiration and education!

Neighbourwoods© is a tree inventory protocol designed to assist communities and professionals in collecting and using the tree information they need to strategically manage their urban forest. It was developed by Dr. Andy Kenney and Dr. Danijela Puric-Mladenovic at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto and has been used by communities across Ontario.

In this introductory session, Andy and Danijela will share their thoughts on why citizens are the most crucial stakeholders in urban forest management and how inventories, a collection of numbers and facts, can be turned into an action by communities.

Don't miss this chance to hear from two of our most inspirational urban forest leaders. We know you will leave feeling empowered!

Light refreshments will be served.
