Join AUSU on January 26, 2023, at 4 p.m. MT for an introduction to the programs and services available through Mitacs, a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada.
Have you wondered how cutting-edge academic research is done? Have you thought about broadening your experience with a research assistant role? The Mitacs core vision supports collaborative research projects between the academic community and industry or non-profit partners. Their academic research internship programs provide students with the opportunity to transfer their skills from theory to real-world application.
Vinay is an Advisor with the Business Development Team at Mitacs. He is a connector in the innovation ecosystem with a proven ability and passion to build partnerships with a wide range of academic, industry, and non-profit stakeholders. Leveraging his expertise in building collaboration between academia and community partners, Vinay specializes in developing work-integrated learning opportunities for students in Canadian universities to catalyze innovation and build talent pipelines for non-profits and businesses.
