The Mitacs core vision supports collaborative research projects between the academic community and industry or non-profit partners. Their academic research internship programs provide students with the opportunity to transfer their skills from theory to real-world application.

Vinay is an Advisor with the Business Development Team at Mitacs. He is a connector in the innovation ecosystem with a proven ability and passion to build partnerships with a wide range of academic, industry, and non-profit stakeholders. Leveraging his expertise in building collaboration between academia and community partners, Vinay specializes in developing work-integrated learning opportunities for students in Canadian universities to catalyze innovation and build talent pipelines for non-profits and businesses.
