Organized and Hosted by the College of Deacons of the Anglican Diocese of Niagara

Join Anglican Deacons Canada virtually on July 9 - 10, 2021 for a national gathering of deacons (and others who are supportive of the diaconate) who would like to connect and learn together.

We are pleased that deacons from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) will be joining us for this event. (The Anglican Church of Canada and the ELCIC are in full communion)

Conference registrants will be able to participate in one of three webinars:

Migrant Farm Workers (Father Antonio Illas)

Prejudice and Inequality (Deirdre Pike)

Truth, Reconciliation and Indigenous Ministry (Archdeacon Val Kerr)

*Having trouble deciding? Each of the three sessions will be recorded and conference participants will be given access so that they can view these recordings after the conference for a specific time period.

Anglican Deacons Canada Members Meeting

Anglican Deacons Canada is having a Members Meeting on Saturday afternoon (July 10). All conference registrants are welcome to attend this meeting, however, only current (paid) ADC Members are allowed to vote. If you are not a member of ADC or if you have not yet renewed your membership for 2021, you can join or renew your membership in Anglican Deacons Canada by visiting this link and following the instructions: https://www.anglicandeacons.ca/membership

*If you forget to join or renew prior to the conference, opportunities will be provided for you to do so during the conference prior to the Members Meeting.

The Diaconal Community of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) Deacons

The Diaconal Community of ELCIC deacons will be holding a meeting on Saturday afternoon in a different breakout room.
